Termy provides AI-powered vocabulary learning tools that analyze text from screenshots and provide explanations adapted to your language proficiency level. Our services include desktop applications for Windows and macOS, a Chrome browser extension, and a web-based account management portal.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• One account per person; sharing accounts is prohibited

4. Subscription and Payments

• Free tier includes limited daily explanations
• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly
• You may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of your billing period
• Refunds are provided within 14 days of initial purchase if you're unsatisfied
• Prices may change with 30 days notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack our systems
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated tools to access the service excessively
• Resell or redistribute our services
• Upload malicious content or screenshots containing illegal material

6. Intellectual Property

Termy and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Termy and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit through the service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• All explanations will be accurate or appropriate
• The service will meet your specific requirements

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Termy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings page.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
